What is a listing fee?
When you are selling a home you pay a fee (listing fee) to the Realtor/Broker who lists your home. The Realtor is then responsible for marketing your home to general public and to other Realtors who will bring the buyer. They are also responsible for representing you in the sale. The listing fee is usually 1-6%, which msWoods Real Estate would take a 1-3% fee for their service. We Save you Thousands!!

What is a selling fee?
When another Realtor/Broker brings a buyer to your home, and they buy it, the fee gets paid to the Realtor/Broker for bringing the buyer to you. If you are the buyer, the Realtor who will represent you when buying your home will get paid this fee. The fee is paid by the seller and usually is 3-3.5%. If you are buying a home through msWoods Real Estate, we offer a cash closing gift to you of up to 1% of the purchase price. After the closing you should receive your check within 7 business days. When I buy a house, what can I do with my closing gift?
Your gift will be paid at closing. Typically most people who are financing their home put the money directly toward closing cost. This will reduce how much money you owe at the transaction. If you are someone who is paying cash, you can use the money however you want. For example you can use the money for moving expenses, new furniture, or you can just get cash back at closing. Whatever you need the money for.

When do I get my closing gift if I buy a house through msWoods?
You will receive your gift within five-seven business days after you close on your house.

Do I have to buy a house listed with msWoods Real Estate to get the closing gift?
No. We will offer a cash closing gift on any house you purchase listed in the Indiana Multiple Listing Service.

Does the buyer for my home have to come from an msWoods Agent for me to get the cash closing gift?
No. You will receive the gift on any house you buy in the Indiana Multiple Listing Service.

If I sell my house with msWoods and I purchase my new home through msWoods do I save on both transactions?
No. We like to sell homes as quickly as possible and for the best price possible. The buyer can be brought by any Realtor. This will not affect your listing fee what so ever.

Yes. You will only pay the 1-6% listing fee for selling your home, and you will still get the closing gift when you purchase your new home through msWoods Real Estate.

If I list my house with msWoods and an msWoods Realtor brings the buyer for my home, do I get both discounts?
No. The buyer will get the closing gift for buying their home through us. But if you purchase your new home through msWoods you will then receive the closing gift.
