Greenfield is located in the center of Hancock County and 15 miles East of Indianapolis. Greenfield is the county seat of Hancock County. In Greenfield you get to experience a small town environment along with a growing atmosphere. Greenfield is the 6th fastest growing county in Indiana. Some of the major roads that run through Greenfield are I-70, U.S. 40 “Old National Road”, and ST RD 9. Conveniently nearby Greenfield is access to I-69, I-465, I-74, and even I-65.
There is always something fun to do in Greenfield. For example you can participate in the Hancock County 4-H Fair, go to the Riley Festival in October and enjoy the entertainment, pumpkins, music, art shows, etc.., go downtown to the “Entertainment on the Plaza Concert” held in June and July and free to the public, watch performances at the H.J.
