Sheridan, being a part of Adams Township and in Hamilton County is approximately 30 miles North
on Indianapolis. Sheridan is a growing community having 4 blocks of shops and restaurants in
Downtown along Main Street from the Monon Trail.
Since Sheridan was named for the Civil War General Phillip H. Sheridan, there is a Veterans Park and
Pioneer Hill to help remember Sheridan History. There are great schools in Sheridan. They have
Adams Elementary school, Sheridan Middle school, and Sheridan High school.
